Every year Philadelphia hosts its very own Fringe Arts Festival, featuring art, music, and performances of the "fringe arts." I reccomend that everyone goes and sees something at teh fest. Many of the performances do require that you purchase a ticket in advance. After your show, go out and grab a drink, the night life just seems better during the fest. Plus today September 7th is also Philadelphia's monthly First Friday event. All galleries should be open with lots of great art to check out.
