Black Pulse 2000-2007: Doug & Mike Starn at the Print Center

I went to this opening last night at the Print Center and was blown away. Huge digital prints, on multiple sheets of paper as tall as the print center's gallery walls loomed over the packed opening. Some of the images are printed on paper that looks like it came from a pad of paper that had gotten wet then dried out in your attic for the past 10 years resembling the delicate aged texture of dried leaves portrayed in the images. One image was printed on sheets of paper made out of woven scotch tape which resulted in the images having large squares on them resembling pixelation. This is one of the best photo shows I have ever been to, and I strongly encourage you to go see this while you can. The show opened last night September 14th and will run through November 21st at the Print Center.
